Sage 300 People
People Resolutions is an official Sage Tech Partner for Sage 300 People, and HR Manage is listed on the Sage Marketplace. HR Manage adds the full HR function to Sage 300 People: records, compliance, training, leave, workflows and self-service, with payroll data flowing in without manual capture.
The integration connects through the Sage 300 People API platform using a script that People Resolutions supplies and it is tested independently on an ongoing basis, so a Sage release does not catch anyone by surprise.
HR Manage currently writes back to Sage through Plugin Workflow Activities when needed, but as the need increases, it will become standard functionality.

Payrolls without an API are integrated through automated importing: the payroll exports its data on a schedule, HR Manage collects the files at regular intervals and imports them, and the result report shows exactly who changed. The details are under "What it does" below.

HR Manage reads your payroll's web API, its database or the files it exports, and matches payroll values to the job titles, locations and other lists in HR Manage.

Cloud HR, payroll on site
HR Manage often runs in the cloud while the payroll runs on the company's own network, with no direct link between them. The Importer bridges that gap before or after each import.

Set up by a wizard, mapped by AI
For PaySpace (now Deel Local Payroll), Sage 300 People and SimplePay, a wizard builds the import from a few values, such as the API address, company and credentials.
For any other source, the Importer does the first pass with AI, and the administrator stays in charge of every suggestion.

- Auto Map suggests the HR Manage field for each payroll column, with a confidence and a reason
- Auto Match pairs unmatched payroll values, such as job titles or branches, with the closest existing list entry
- Nothing is saved to the template until the administrator accepts it
- Optional, and metered separately from the licence

Do you supply a payroll?
No. We partner with leading South African payrolls and integrate with the one you have, or recommend one.
Which payrolls do you integrate with?
Virtually any, through its API, its database or the files it exports. Each person needs a key that never changes, such as the ID number.
Does HR Manage write back to the payroll?
Usually the payroll stays the master and HR Manage imports from it. Where needed, a workflow activity or custom interface sends data back.
Our HR Manage is in the cloud and our payroll is on our own server. Can they still talk?
Yes. The Importer fetches files from an FTPS site, and a small utility on your network can send encrypted payroll data at set times.
