HR Manage program and data files are completely isolated which means that HR Manage can be upgraded or rolled back without affecting any other applications or services running on the same server.  Before starting with an upgrade, we suggest creating a Rollback Package.  This is basically 'n backup of all needed files to do a complete rollback in case something goes wrong during the upgrade.

Under the HR Manage backup folder (usually "?:\HRManage\Backup" ) create a sub-folder called "Rollback 3_5_??_??" (replace question marks with actual version number).  Under this folder, you should make copies / backups of the following files and folders:

• Backup copy of latest HR Manage database
• Copy of the \Bin folder and \Bin\Server folder
• Copy of the \Web folder
• Copy of the client installation files:
  • \Setup\Client\HRManage.Client.Setup.msi
  • \Setup\Client\Client.config
