We have upgraded the HR Manage Web Interface to version 3.5. The system is developed on ASP.NET version 3 which features the latest technology from Microsoft.
The new upgraded system has more functionality and will be more integrated with other modules whereas version 3.0 was purely used for performance reviews and displaying job profiles.
Here is a list of some of the new features that are be available:
Integrated Login
Users can now link their Network / Windows Login to their HR Manage username which allows secure access without a password.
Functionality has also been added to allow employees to register themselves on the system using their surname and ID Number. This is a once-off procedure where employees will choose a username and password and confirm that their contact details are correct.
Organisational Chart
The system can now generate organisational charts based on the links between employees in HR Manage. After the user has logged in, a mini organisational chart will display directly related to the employee logged in. A full organisational chart can also be displayed for the company.
More Control over Job Profile and Review Layout
With the upgraded structures, Job Profiles and Reviews can now be customized even further. We've also added a Profile Sign Off feature where both the reviewer and employee must approve the performance contract online before proceeding with a formal review.
Some of the new features include:
- Advanced customization of the layout of Job Profiles and Reviews
- Multiple levels of weights and rating should it be required
- Employee self rating
- Online capturing of targets / standards for performance indicators
- Web front-end's theme can be changed to match the company's current intranet colour scheme
Integration with other HR Manage Modules
The upgraded system allows for proper integration with other HR Manage modules. New modules that will be enabled in the future for use by employees includes:
- Performance & Competence Reviews (upgraded)
- Personal Development Plan (currently being upgraded)
- Training Requests (planned)
- Leave Administration (planned)
- Incident Reporting (investigating)
