We have updated our Reporting & Exporting module.

New functionality includes Export Packages.  Once set up, this functionality will allow users to select the records they want to export and with the push of a button, generate all the files required for importing into EduDex or other software packages.

Export Packages are completely customizable and can be set up to export data to Excel workbooks or text files.  The layout and content of these files can be set up and the lookup values can further be customised for each SETA to allow exporting to multiple SETAs.

In addition to this, we've also updated our Employee Management module to include the new fields required for exporting to SETA.  Some of these include Alternative ID, Nationality, Home Language, etc.

When exporting for SASSETA for instance, the user simply selects all the Training Records that needs to be exported, click on the "Reporting & Exporting" button, select the Export Package (in this case EduDex), select the SETA to export for (in this case SASSETA) and click the Export button.  This will create 3 .dat files that are ready for importing into EduDex.
