People Resolutions (Pty) Ltd. is a software development company with a special focus on Human Resource Information Technology Solutions.  Managing Human Capital in the knowledge economy requires the rethinking of traditional HR processes. The impact of Information Technology on traditional HR roles and tasks brings about fundamental changes in the way HR practitioners will do their work in future.  

The services the HR Department used to render to the rest of the organisation were primarily based on interpersonal transactions.  These transactions will continue to take place, but the role of HR is shifting from the facilitator of these transactions to the management of information generated by these transactions.  The model People Resolutions (Pty) Ltd. developed over the past 9 years is intended to assist HR practitioners to make the transition to a technologically driven work environment.

Technology will increasingly be used to automate certain traditional HR tasks.  On the other hand there are tasks that will disappear all together over the next few years as a result of Information Technology.  The HR practitioners who want to remain in demand in the new knowledge economy will have to avail himself of the opportunities unlocked by HR IT Solutions.

Footprint

We have resident consultants in Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town. Our clients vary from large International Corporations with multiple branches throughout South Africa to single operations with less than 50 employees. We have a network of Associate – and Independent Consultants and have the capacity to compile a project team based on the clients needs. We have worked together with HR and IT companies on large projects both in a lead- and support role.

The directors are involved in the day-to-day running of the business. A 25% share was sold to an investment company recently and a further 26% shares have been earmarked for a BBBEE partner. Negotiations are underway to sell shares to a potential Black partner.
